Bele - one of the most beautiful places on Lake Teletskoye, part of the Altai Nature Reserve. Here apple fruit, pear orchards, apricot, almonds are grown. We meet local people who treat us delicious lunch.
Rural LifeAfter breakfast, we sail to the cordon of the Altai Reserve - Yaylyu. In translation, the name means "fertile, having a pasture." According to legend, detachments of Siberian Cossacks, who are led by Peter Sabanskiy came Yaylyu in 1633. Perhaps this is the most sunny place on the lake - apple trees, canadian maples, and oaks grow here. Yaylu is the only place on the lake, from where a view of the southern and northern reaches opens simultaneously. In the village we meet Evgeniy Veselovskiy - the old-timer of the Altai Reserve. Together with him we walk through the reserve, visit a weather station, see the engine of the oldest motor ship that worked on the lake, visit a spring, on the shore of fabulous snags and giant anthills, go down to Vaskina mountain. Lunch in the manor house of Evgeny Veselovsky. Night at a guest house in Yaylyu.
