Day 1
Arrival to Altai
Arrival to Altai. The Ob River as one of the largest rivers of the planet. Accommodation at the hotel with view to the bank of mountainous Katun River.Day 2
Excursion to Chemal
Excursion to Chemal – trecking to Patmos Island and Che-Chkysh Gorge. Rafting at the Katun River (optionally) and visit to maral deer breeding farm.Day 3
Altaic Karakol Valley
Tour of the sacred Altaic Karakol Valley, cultural immerse. Concert of throat singing, nomadic cuisine, local traditions and rites.Day 4
Chuisky Highway.
Car excursion along the Chuisky Highway. Kalbak-Tach rock drawings, Geizernoye Lake, North-Chuisky Ridge with snowcapped peaks. Russian sauna.Day 5
Observing mountain
Early awakening and hiking up to an observing mountain where we will meet the dawn. Afterwards continuation of car travel towards the Mongolian border. Mars or Kyzyl-Chin River valley, Ulaganskoya Plateau, Pazyryc burial mounds, Katu-Yaryk Pass.Day 6
The Chulyshman River Canyon
The Chulyshman River Canyon. Trekking to Uchar Waterfall (20 km) or to Kurkure Waterfall (7 km).Day 7
Stone Mushrooms
Earth pyramids also known as Stone Mushrooms. Crossing Teletskoye Lake by motor boat. Altaisky Biosphere Reserve.Day 8
Teletskoye Lake
Day-off at Teletskoye Lake. Visit to apiary and small waterfall.Day 9
Transfer to Barnaul or Novosibirsk.

Farewell to Altai!
